Truly a hidden gem 💎 for sewing fanatics!!! they really have it all here! Everyone who works here is so kind, and their dedication and patience to run this store despite having so MUCH inventory makes everything feel so much less chaotic than i was originally expecting from the other reviews. Very high quality, incredibly reasonably priced fabrics (my selections came out to be around 6-8$ per yard for top brands of fabric, after their very generous 50% discount on ALL FABRICS!), faux furs, leather scraps, buttons, by far the best quality and cheapest zippers i’ve encountered at any craft store (YKK metal for only between 50 cents-4$ depending on length), lace, elastic, and more! definitely a new favorite 🤩

I make an annual trip to SR Harris for a big stock up. It can be overwhelming, but also awesome. Come with a plan like what you like to make, or know your color palette Pro tips: -bring a water, there is no AC. A clip on or neck fan can also be a life saver in the summer -go early to avoid crowds and delays at the cutting tables -its self cut. They provide scissors but they are well loved. Bringing your fave pair can save you some frusteration -Give yourself plenty of time, don't have somewhere to be after your visit.

I enjoy my trips here. I will give you a heads up that it can be a bit overwhelming. I spent over 4 hours here on my last visit getting specific items. It will take some searching depending on what material you are looking for. I am extremely satisfied with my trips. Great selection of some of the most exotic fabrics I have seen. I'l add photos of some of my favorite fabrics and clothes/ projects I've made.

Saw some beautiful appliqued floral blouses on line. SR Harris has bins and bins of appliques. I am making one for myself. Heres what I have so far. Also bought some for other projects.

It's like a kid in a candy store! More people should go there not only to buy things but to tease their imaginations of what they can do with the various fabrics this place has to offer. Lots of options! Consider making things as family projects or getting together with friends too make interesting stuff. Outdoor fabrics that are water and UV resistant... checked. Fabrics for making blankets... checked, quilting fabrics (including remnants at bargain prices)... checked. Leather products for making pouches, bags, belts, etc...checked. Let your imagination wander as you go through aisles and aisles of various fabrics. Prices are surprisingly good, including daily 50% discount at this outlet. Don't take my words, go there and be prepared to be amazed.
